This is my place to explore being a princess Shaina Maideleh. To understand who and what I am. Spoiled rotten, a world gypsy.
This is a journey of a lost princess. She is fragile and should be handled with manners and care.
I had a discussion with several people who have asked how can they help keep moisture out of their hair. Or protect against humidity? I use several products, I use Sabino Moisture Block, ( they have a newer product out it’s call Löc & block?) and then to finish my hair I use Sebastian Shaper Zero Gravity, ( also know as 0 grams) and Abba Pure Shine, not much, it will make hair oily. It has mika bits in it;)). Which makes it sparkle:D.
So I towel dry my hair, until almost all moister is out, I need under a dime size for hair that’s medium long, I have fine hair and a lot of it, it reaches well past my shoulders, when I have my long bob, I need 3-5 drops:). Anyway I work it in from Roots to Tip, my scalp has issues:/. They I ether blow dry it straight. Or pull it back ‘Rico style. With boar bristle brush, and bobby pins and a hair band:). Then flat ironing or if I have to old school pressing. And I only use the finish hair spray if I have an interview or Up Do’s, it will make my hair itch, I seem to be allergic to all hairspray a:(((( I have tried so many! ( used to give products away, because I would buy them and then have a reaction to them). I also use the Abba spray because sit nice and I like how it makes me look:). It also isn’t as drying as other products and for me that’s important to me to not ad alcohol to my hair. The Sabino Moisture block, will feel stick at first when going on. When it’s on your hair, you can’t feel it it’s weightless and not oily:/. It also works of you want to wear curly hair, it helped it not look ‘Bozoish’ the curls will be soft and separate, but not hold well unless hair spray or mousse is added. So please keep this in mind.
I use hair spray only when I have to, my skin gives me so many issues:(. So of corse hair is another area where I have issues. But I use the the travel sizes, I use Sebastian, or Oribe’s or Bumble and Bumbles.
I will add Abba on top of the Moister lock, if I think my hair feels dry, or I need extra umph!
I have very, very, very curly hair, as a result I fight my hair every day that it isn’t straightened. And I look like I am Korean when I have my hair done, or another Asian mix. It makes my hair pin straight.
I have used these products in the following places:
Hawaii, Oahu, all over the island all times of the year, Oklahoma City, April -May, Washington state year round all over Western Washington, California Long Beach, July. Atlanta in the dead of summer, for three weeks, I want to say it was July to August. And Washington D.C. 1 week in July. And New Jersey, September to October. I have flown all these places so I know it looks amazing, I have been stopped by friends an former colleges and asked what do I use. Once I sold my 1/2 bottle to another hair dresser in Kentucky who’s a friend. She had some clients who where going to be on stage in front of 20,000 people and she was required to do their hair. One of those women went on to be the face of several companies and she also stopped me often and asked about what products I used year after year. She also was a runner up for the Oprah show, to win your own show.

So my school has this thing called the “Condom Fairy”. You just go to the Student Health website and state your preferences. You can choose male and/or female condoms and weather or not you want lube. Then a few days later an envelope appears in your mailbox free of charge! Also with that cool little note about consent.
All schools should do this.
